It’s so nice to be distinguished and appreciated.

VI International Doll Salon in Moscow

Oh, it was a century ago when I wrote in my blog last time! :) Nevertheless I spent a beautiful summer in a countryside near the forest and, what was quite pleasant, there was no any fast and reliable internet connection :) After that I was quite busy taking part in a VI International Doll Salon in Moscow organized by IADA (International Association of Doll Artists)
This time it was my first experience of individual exhibition (the other ones were with my friends doll artists). The new experience was positive! I like it!
This is what my showcase looked like before and after the installation.

The doll is sitting in the wooden chair.
Total height of the composition is little lower than 6 ½″
The doll is approx. 7 “ tall if she were standing
Hair is Tibetan lamb, decorated by 6 artificial flowers and 6 beads. Eyes are hand painted.
The clothes are not removable. Made of laces, knitted net, cotton fabric and decorated by 67 artificial flowers and 67 beads.

Total height of the composition is little higher than 6″
The doll is approx. 6⅓″ tall.

The clothes are not removable. Made of chiffon, real silk, atlas ribbons and knitted fabric. The boots are made of Cernit polymer clay.
